About RQAC

Royal Queensland Aero Club (RQAC) is conveniently located at Archerfield airfield, which is one of the southern suburbs of Brisbane in the State of Queensland. Established in 1919, being the first flying school in Australia, RQAC has its heritage, leadership and own culture in flying training. It is RQAC's mission to maintain its professionalism, highest standards, and safety in flight training

.

All flying instructors at RQAC are experienced professionals with passions in flying and teaching people how to fly. Their training programmes are approved by the Civil Aviation and Safety Authority (CASA) and aircraft are rigorously operated and maintained in accordance with the Civil Aviation Regulations. RQAC's training fleet includes a whole series of Cessna 152, 172 and Beechcraft Duchess aircraft. In addition to the training for people for recreational flying, RQAC established a wholly owned subsidiary institute ¡V Airline Academy of Australia (AAA) for professional pilot training. They are also a contracted flight training services provider to the Department of Aviation of Griffith University in Australia.
